In Elmhurst, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Elmhurst is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Elmhurst follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I went here last night and felt great right away. The shop is packed with so much plants, including rare plants. I came here for pothos, and found 3 rare kinds (Manjula, Snow Queen, Pearls&Jade) which you couldnโ€™t even get from HomeDepot, Lowes or Wallmart. Itโ€™s affordable and all plants are in best shape. The staff are welcoming, friendly and well-educated.

I love this place! It feels like a little garden inside and everything is set up so nicely. Prices arenโ€™t bad either. My plants from here are doing so much better than ones Iโ€™ve gotten from other places. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.

a breath of fresh air as soon as you walk in. we were so excited to hear that the my bonita gardens family opened up a full shop here. the plants never disappoint and they sell more: floral bouquets, planters, sage, and palo santo. can't wait to come back for more ๐Ÿชด edit: ๐Ÿ“ธ photo added! recently ordered a small custom bouquet of peonies for my mom's wedding and they were perfect! reasonably priced and turned out gorgeous for the wedding. i recommend ordering at least a few weeks in advance to give them enough time. i coordinated everything via text and it was effortless!
